ATL ACAMS Chapter - Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery

Jay Postma, CAMS, President of MSB Compliance Inc. and Co-Chair of the Atlanta ACAMS Chapter, Fernanda Medina, CAMS, Erica Harper, CAMS, Natalia Beinenson, CAMS, and Julie Barns were pleased to attend the July 11, 2013 quarterly meeting of the Atlanta ACAMS Chapter hosted by Bryan Cave LLP.

Mr. Postma was honored to introduce the guests from Homeland Security Investigations:  Brock Nicholson, Special Agent in Charge, and Ms. Alia El-Sawi.  Mr. Nicholson and Ms. El-Sawi gave a great presentation describing ways in which human trafficking and modern slavery are causing pain, suffering and heartache to women, children and men, how such activities are impacting the very communities in which we live and serve, red flags, and how we can all be part of helping to stop this terrible unlawful activity.
